Questions

Questions parents ask

If yours is not here, your centre will know the answer.

Which level should my child enter? One level below the level they are learning now. A child in Level 6 sits the Level 5 paper, so nothing on it is new. Your centre enters the level for you.
What comes in the paper? Mental arithmetic questions based on the level in which the student has participated. The questions will be set according to the difficulty and speed appropriate for that level.
Where is the championship taken? Online, from home or from the centre. Everything a child needs is a computer or tablet with a steady connection; the screen checks itself before the paper opens.
Can my child practise beforehand? Yes. Mock test papers open after registration and use the same paper, timer and screen as the day itself, so nothing about the championship is a surprise.
What does my child receive? Every participating student receives a participation certificate. Achievers of each level receive a medal, winners a trophy and a certificate, and the champion of each level the title trophy, the champion certificate and a mega gift.
How do we find out the result? On result day the names are published on our website, and the prize distribution ceremony follows. Your centre is told at the same time.
Who do we ask if something goes wrong? Your MAA centre first - they hold the entry and can see it. Anything they cannot settle, they raise with the head office on your behalf.
